Founded in 2020, The Martketplace is an organization that strives to inspire students to create and sell art, while simultaneously supporting the artistic futures of underprivileged inner-city youth.
MEET THE FOUNDERS & CEOS
Jade Zhu (Left) and Ty Nagvajara (Right) are both currently seniors at Harriton High School in Rosemont Pennsylvania. Combining their passions for art and community outreach, they have come together to create The Martketplace in hopes of sparking artistic drive in local student artists. From website design, to marketing, to artist outreach, Zhu and Nagvajara's responsibilities are multi-faceted.
OPERATIONS MANAGER & FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Guillaume Placidet is also a senior at Harriton High School. As one of the founding members of The Martketplace, Guillaume works behind the scenes to develop financial plans between the artists, the buyers, and our outreach programs, along with other responsibilities.
